About Kamini Kapoor, DDS, MS
Dr. Kapoor is our in-house periodontist, a dental specialist who treats advanced gum disease (periodontitis) and also does the placement of dental implants.
With more than 25 years of experience in gum and bone surgery, Dr. Kapoor is one of the most experienced and skilled professionals in her field.
After graduating from Columbia University's School of Dental and Oral Surgery in 1986, she went on to complete a one-year hospital residency in Ann Arbor.
Upon completion of her residency she did a three-year Periodontal Surgical Internship at Ohio State University.
Since her post-doctoral graduation in 1990, she has continued to take advanced courses to keep up with current trends and procedures in the field of periodontics and the placement of dental implants.
Dr. Kapoor is a board eligible periodontist, and while she sees patients all over the country, she makes her home in Los Angeles so that she can make patients in our office a top priority.
