A digital bite recorder has sensors on a thin piece of plastic. And what we do is we actually put this into your mouth and we get a recording of your bite.
So instead of the traditional way of just looking at the articulating paper with the blue markings, in some cases we use this to capture the whole bite on the computer.
What that gives us is the whole bite from the time that you start to close your teeth to the time that it's completely closed, there is a recording of that bite.
