CEREC stands for CERamic REConstruction. This system is a computerized 3D technology that allows Dr. Maddahi to create custom crowns, inlays, and onlays right in our office using the most natural, durable porcelain material available.
Natural, durable Inlays and Onlays
Inlays and onlays are fillings which cover a large portion of your tooth. They are used to restore a broken-down tooth or to replace an existing large filling.

In the past, tooth-colored filling material was not durable enough to withstand the tremendous biting forces required by back teeth, so inlays and onlays on back molars had to be metal-based. CEREC inlays and onlays are created to your personal specification from a single, strong ceramic block.
