Some patients have either TMJ or they get headaches. They don't know where the headache is coming from.
We wanted to find out what is the root cause of that muscle tension.
So when I hired the soft tissue therapist, the reason was to pick up where the tension is in the different muscle groups. We have identified 30 muscle groups in the face, head and neck. And that's where we concentrate on.
We check all the tensions, we also check it with the sensors. So we have a baseline record that we're constantly measuring and remeasuring to see how we can get rid of the headaches, how we can get rid of the muscle tensions and what we can do for the patient to raise their awareness.
That is part of the new dentistry that we are providing for our patients.
