Flossing regularly is more important than the type of floss used. Many of our patients prefer the “Glide” floss, there seems to be less tearing of the gums and it is easier to floss the teeth with this brand for some.

A weak bite surface means that the teeth are worn down and possibly chipped, this can be caused by grinding.  If the enamel is gone; the surface will have to be restored with onlays, porcelain or gold crowns.  A night guard will help to make sure that you stop wearing out the teeth any further.
