While baking soda is abrasive, it should not be used more than once a month or once every couple of months. It damages the enamel if it is used to often because it is so abrasive. But. it can help to whiten the teeth to some degree.

If the cavities are big enough and cause an infection, the infection can cause damage to the adult tooth. But, just having a cavity on the baby teeth should not have any effect on the adult teeth if it is caught early.

I would rather the patient recovers initially for the first 72 hours before they do any type of traveling. This is because of the rawness of the area and the pressure in the air can cause some pain.

Usually, recovery dental implant surgery takes just a couple of days. I have had patients that have gone to work the next day. Implant surgery does not seem to be a very painful procedure. It is less painful than an extraction.
