What factors contribute to a long term success with dental implants?

One factor to a successful dental implant is putting in a long implant. The length of the implant has a lot to do with the overall success of the surgery. The quality of the bone, meaning that it is not a soft bone, is a second important factor. Then, once the implant is put in, patients should make sure that regular cleanings are done, and that the bite on the implant is not too harsh, so that it is not putting too much pressure on the implant itself.
