All of a sudden my teeth feel sensitive. Why is this?

One of the reasons can be due to how you are brushing your teeth. If the gums have receded and the roots are exposed; the teeth can become sensitive. Trauma to the teeth can make them sensitive. Also clenching and grinding of the teeth makes teeth sensitive. This is why it is important to see a dentist if your teeth are sensitive, so all of these possibilities can be explored.
