Almost every morning, I wake up with the taste of metal in my mouth. What would cause that?

This sometime happens to patients that have silver fillings or mercury fillings in their mouth. Also, if they have any type of metal in their mouth, for example braces, it could cause them to have this metal taste, especially if they are very sensitive people.
