My gums have receded making my teeth look bigger. Is there anything that can be done?

Yes, gum grafting can be done. There are two different types of gum grafting. One type is when the gum tissue is taken from the roof of the mouth, placed underneath the gum and the gums are pulled over it. Or the second type of grafting is called an Alloderm graft, which is a cadaver graft that has been irradiated. This graft can be placed on the gum line so that no gum tissue is taken from the roof of the mouth. With gum grafting, you can increase the length of the gum and decrease the length of the teeth.
