What can be done for a cracked molar?

Depending on the depth of the crack, sometimes just putting a crown on the molar seals the crack and doesn’t let the crack open up. Sometimes, a combination of a root canal and a crown will need to be done. In more extreme cases, the cracked molar may have to be extracted if the crack is more severe.
