What is a weak bite surface?

A weak bite surface means that the teeth are worn down and possibly chipped, this can be caused by grinding. If the enamel is gone; the surface will have to be restored with onlays, porcelain or gold crowns. A night guard will help to make sure that you stop wearing out the teeth any further.
