My dentist said I was a tongue thruster. What does that mean?

Tongue thrusting is when the tongue presses on the back of the upper or lower teeth, but most likely the upper teeth. Tongue thrusting can be done in the daytime, but mostly it happens at night. The pressure exerted on the teeth move the teeth on a constant basis.
