What causes bucked teeth?

Bucked teeth can be genetic where the teeth just grow in the wrong direction. They also can be caused by tongue thrusting, meaning that either at night or during the day the tongue is pushing against the back of the front teeth, or if there is thumb sucking that’s been going on for a long time.
