Vitamins and your teeth

Vitamins are important for both a healthy body and for healthy teeth. When patients have a Vitamin C deficiency they can have bleeding gums and loose teeth as well as mouth sores. The Vitamin B complex is vital to a healthy mouth if there is not enough vitamin B in the diet the result can cause cracking and bleeding of the lips as well as open sores and lesions on both the inside and outside of the mouth. Calcium is known as a super nutrient that strengthens the bones and teeth, this vitamin is important for healthy teeth and bones.
