Is natural toothpaste better than regular toothpaste?

There are people that do not believe in using fluoride, because fluoride is also a known poison. They do not want to ingest it. Fluoride does help teeth become stronger, but ingestion of it is a problem.
Some studies have shown that just brushing your teeth, even with water, could remove the plaque and keep your teeth healthy. So, toothpaste is mostly used to freshen the breath, while the amount of fluoride in it is not so much that it would make a difference.
If a person is opposed to using fluoride toothpaste, then it is best to use a natural toothpaste. You should get similar results as long as the brushing is done three times a day and is done properly.
